Nelson House is a residential care home, established in 1990, which specialises in the care of older people. The home is centrally situated in Dudley, West Midlands and is close to all local amenities.
All bedrooms are spacious and well equipped and have been designed to make sure our residents feel at home in the warm and comfortable settings. Residents are encouraged to bring personal items with them to promote an atmosphere of familiarity.
We understand that choosing the right care home is a big decision and one that should be made with assistance from relatives and loved-ones. We encourage prospective residents and family members to assist in visits to ensure they feel comfortable in our home.

Nelson Care Home works under a philosophy of care that dictates that all residents shall live in a safe and comfortable environment, where they are treated with respect and equality, irrespective of their needs and backgrounds and in an environment of trust and familiarity.
We believe it’s extremely important to promote independence and understand that all of our residents should be treated as individuals so every person living with us has a plan of care designed around their requirements and preferences, granting them choice in all aspects of their daily routine. We also welcome regular visits from family and friends.
